would we have donkeys?

V-day package!! V-day package!! V-day package!!

i got my valentine's day package yesterday. peeps and beans of jelly and cookies and those sweet tart candy hearts that i love, and gummies and chocolate covered raisins that zelda helped me sample. not only was it filled with delicious treats, but my tea that i bought at christmas (which i am currently drinking) and a copy of 'extras' season one. it is a lot like the office hilarious and sad at the same time. i like it because of the guests that they have. season one has a lot of english actors that i don't know, but kate winslet makes an appearance. season two has a lot bigger names: david bowie, daniel radcliff (HPotter), chris martin, diana rigg, ian mckellen, and my personal favorite orlando bloom. the actors are so hilarious because they are weird and arrogant and a little neurotic. i recommend it if you liked the office. but i do feel sorry for the main character, because he can never get a break.

swipes burned me a copy of judy collins' 'colors of the day' (of which i am currently listening) i was looking on amazon for a cd of her, but i couldn't find one that had all the songs i wanted, so she added the fisherman song and now it's perfect. as i was browsing her albums, i saw a lot of the ones that mamsis had, but i also saw her very early ones. she looked so different to me as a young woman. and then i saw the cover of 'judith' and i laughed to myself. i once told mom that i thought she was posing like that to cover a pimple on the side of her face, because she had the same pose on the back cover too.

it was 60 degrees yesterday when i went to work, and was snowing on the way home. and it is still snowing now. anyone that wants some snow can come and visit me!

have the boy lay out my formal shorts

yesterday was my valentine's day dinner with josh. he made reservations at a restaurant on the side of a mountain that was built on the same site as an actual fort. they served a lot of game and we drank out of mason jars. i thought this was a little odd since the dress was business casual. even though i have to dress up almost everyday for work, it was nice to wear a skirt and my tall shoes.
i had lamb chops and josh had the game plate which had buffalo, elk, and quail. it was a very good meal and worth the 30 minute drive. and now i get to frost the heart shaped cakes that i'm taking in to work tomorrow. and i get to have peeps for breakfast from mamsis' package. more on that tomorrow.
