curse of the phone book

we get a lot of phone books on our doorstep. we don't even use them so today we took the four that we had in the apartment, plus the one that's been sitting outside for the past month and a half down to be recycled. this was about 10 am. when josh left for work at 12:30, what was sitting outside our door? TWO PHONE BOOKS!!! how did they know we just got rid of 5? we'll just leave this one outside so they know we don't need anymore.

roundhouse kick to the face

i was reading online that someone can hear the baby's heartbeat now by putting their ear to the tummy in a quiet room. last night i was telling josh this, and asked if he wanted to try. he asked me "what if i get kicked?" and i told him that the baby doesn't kick at night. turns out he does, and josh got kicked in the face. but he did hear the heartbeat, so i guess it was worth it.

after two failed deliveries, i finally went and picked up my clothes from ups. only two things don't fit and i can take them back to the store, instead of having to ship them back. looks like i'll be going shopping tomorrow.

four months and closing

i finally broke out the maternity clothes to mark the five month mark. bridget sent me some clothes and mom got me some pants for christmas. i even used the gift cards my mother-in-law gave me for some more stuff. depending on how well everything fits, there may be a fashion show!
