everyone should have a josh

on friday night when i got home from work, josh had dinner ready and we ate out on the balcony. the weather has been really nice, warm but not too hot. and cool at night so we can have the windows open and hear the coyotes better.
saturday we went to the melting pot, a fondue restaurant in Littleton, to celebrate our one year anniversary. there were roses on the table when we got there, a service that they provide for their customers. the food was really good and it was fun to eat. we had swiss cheese fondue and the waiter was trying to convince us that apples and cheese are a good combination. then we had tuna, shrimp, chicken, steak and lobster to cook in hot broth. the lobster tails were served sitting on top of the empty shells. it was strange to see the pink tuna turn white and the white lobster and shrimp turn pink after only a few seconds in the broth. one problem was that you only got a few pieces of meat, but six sauces so you couldn't put each sauce on a piece of chicken, unless you cut the chicken in tiny pieces. the chocolate course was by far my favorite. they have about seven choices and also a create your own (milk, dark or white with your choice of liquer). i'll have to go again so i can have all the different types of chocolate. it would be a good place for visitors to go (come visit me!)

Wow, the Melting Pot sounds really nice (and tasty, too) You didn't say what kind of chocolate you chose. It would be a nice place for a big group of people to go - as long as everyone promised to SHARE some of whatever DIFFERENT entree and dessert was chosen.

We're coming...and not just for the chocolate!

And Happy Anniversary! We love you!
