1. eggs don't crack, they make a thudding noise on the counter
2. cream doesn't pour
3. room temperature icing instantly turns rock hard on the cake.
4. coke cans look like this (yes this is upside down because the bottom became convex):
mamsis got her easter package. some cookies were broken, others seemed smushed even though i thought i had done a good job packaging them. this is what they are supposed to look like.

The picture you took gives me a better idea of how these cookies go together - they were a little worse for wear, thanks to our great postal service, but all in all, they were still beautiful, and much appreciated (nad yummy, says your dad).
Sorry about you fridge; do you have to replace it? Hope it didn't make the wedding cake too difficult to complete - and where are the pictures of THAT?!?
the cookies look so cool, but ti probably wasn't best to try to mail the 3-d ones. how nice of you to send a package to mom!
(oh, by the way, opl bought you a minnesota pin when he went home so one of these days i will mail it to you, or give it to you when you come visit.)
